Accounting Manager - New York

Description

We are seeking a candidate to assume a significant role in executing the organizational objectives within the Finance department. This is a highly visible role and the expectation is for this person to assume significant responsibility.

The Accounting Manager will be expected to provide general ledger management and all month end activities including producing balance sheet schedules, providing in-depth P&L analysis, reviewing and producing monthly journal entries and assisting in the year-end budgeting process.

The goal for this person is to eventually supervise junior department members and oversee all day to day accounting.
