OVERVIEW
We are an IT asset disposition service provider offering a suite of effective and impartial solutions to help companies manage their excess technology by destroying data and mitigating the risk of recycling liability for a variety of different industries. Our data destruction services either meet or exceed the National Institute of Standards and Technology (“NIST”) 800-88 guidelines, as may be updated, amended, modified, superseded and replaced from time to time. We do not access the data from any of the devices or equipment relinquished to us nor do we maintain that data.
TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. For purposes of this Policy, personal information does not include:

We may disclose information to third parties or allow third parties to directly collect information using these technologies on our Website such as social media companies, advertising networks, companies that facilitate session replay recordings and analysis, companies that provide analytics including ad tracking and reporting, security providers, and others that help us operate our business and Website.

Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we cannot guarantee your information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We “sell” or “share” (as such terms are defined under applicable law) certain categories of personal information to and with our service providers and third parties. We do not “sell” or “share” the personal information of minors we know to be under the age of 18 as our services are not geared toward that demographic, but instead toward other businesses and the adults who work at those businesses.

Upon receipt of your request, we will endeavor to honor it based on the information that we collect and maintain. Depending on the nature of your request, you will need to do the following in order for us to honor it:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we have collected personal information. This may require the matching of up to three pieces of personal information provided with your request with information we maintain in order to verify that it is you making the request.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

As required by applicable law, we will evaluate your request and will respond to your request within legally required time period. Please note that we may not take action on certain requests if we cannot verify your identity and confirm the personal information we maintain relates to you.

You may authorize someone to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf (an “authorized agent”) using the submission methods outlined above. An authorized agent will need to provide supporting information acceptable to us that you have authorized them to act on your behalf, which may be in the form of a power of attorney pursuant to applicable law. Depending on the evidence provided, we may also contact you to verify your identity directly with us or request confirmation from you that the agent is authorized to submit the request on your behalf.
Appealing Privacy Rights Decisions
You have the right to appeal a decision we have made in connection with your privacy rights request. All appeals should be submitted via email to privacy@liquidtechnology.net with the words “APPEAL PRIVACY RIGHTS” clearly indicated in the subject line. If you are unsatisfied with the way that we have handled your appeal, you may have the right to complain to your state’s Attorney General.
Other California Privacy Rights
California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
