The social media giant, Facebook, is currently under fire for violating user’s privacy. The Federal Trade Commission is investigating Facebook. The company CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, was questioned during a congressional hearing about violating a 2011 consent decree. Somehow, Cambridge Analytica gained access to data from the profiles of 50 million Facebook users. If the tech giant is found guilty, it will cost them $40,000 per violation.
