Liquid Technology Moves Its Headquarters to Larger Location

New York, NY, April 1, 2013 – Liquid Technology, an Inc. 5000 IT asset management company and one of the Top 100 Businesses in New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island, NY-NJ-PA, announces that it is relocating its headquarters to a larger location within New York’s historic Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT), in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn.

“I am excited to announce that due to the growing demand for secure data destruction and e-waste recycling and disposal services, Liquid Technology is making the transition to a new 31,000 square-foot location that is more accommodating to our suite of asset management services. This move will strategically allow Liquid Technology to continue to grow while further meeting the business needs of our valuable clients,” said Richard Greene, VP of Operations for Liquid Technology. “Since our initial move to the BAT in 2009, we have come to think of it as home, so we are thrilled to be able to continue our relationship with the New York City Economic Development Corporation and the BAT in our new location,” Greene added.

Officials within the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the company that manages the Brooklyn Army Terminal on behalf of the City of New York, are also pleased about Liquid Technology’s relocation. NYCEDC’s Director of Leasing, Lee Winter, stated, “Liquid Technology is a shining example of the type of business the BAT continually strives to attract and retain. It is our belief that by combining our enviable location and generous space allotments with select companies capable of utilizing them to their advantage, both the BAT and our tenants can achieve tremendous success. Liquid Technology is but one example of that belief in action and we are more than exhilarated to be keeping them as tenants.”

Brooklyn Army Terminal was designed by world-renowned architect, Cass Gilbert, and construction was completed in September of 1919. Originally a military depot and supply base, most prevalently used during World War II, the BAT was purchased by the City of New York in 1981. Today, the renovated four million square-foot industrial complex is home to more than 70 businesses and 2,500 employees.
