Redwood City, CA – October 19, 2011 – Liquid Technology, a computer liquidation and data destruction company, just completed the entire shutdown and liquidation of Liquid Digital Media’s Redwood City, CA data center. Liquid Digital Media, the owner ofLiquid.com, and an online repository for digital music, hired Liquid Technology to provide onsite data wiping of all storage media to be in compliance with the legal requirements set forth by its recording company clientele. Liquid Technology also provided data center de-install services and purchased all of Liquid Digital Media’s data center hardware, including: Dell, Sun and EMC servers and Cisco networking equipment.
“We were first contacted at the end of August by Liquid Digital Media and worked with them to meet their contractual deadlines for data destruction while providing enough of a return on their assets to cover all costs for this project,” said Richard Greene, Liquid Technology’s Managing Partner. “We had a small window of time to complete this project but are happy to say that our team completed all data destruction and de-install services in just over a week allowing Liquid Digital Media to concentrate on other business issues.”
